October 30th sees Field 725 Campsite, here at Critchil Manor Estate, hosting a family-friendly Halloween spookfest. Halloween Eve, as the night has been christened, sees an evening of fun games, crafts and activities; fireside ghost stories; a treasure h(a)unt amongst spooky woodland trails and a creepy grotto to explore amongst other activities.
The event runs from 5.30pm to 9.30pm with entry being £3.50 per child and £2.00 per adult. Car parking onsite is £1 per vehicle. Attendees are encouraged to liftshare! Tickets are available on the door only – no advance bookings.
Field 725 will be firing up their woodfired pizza oven as well as serving a range of hot food and drinks including mulled Uptonogood cider, the result of a community cider project in the local village of Upton Noble.
Kids will be encouraged to roam freely through our safe but suitably scary woodlands as well as taking part in organised games, crafts activities, kids disco and more in our woodland yurt and pagoda marquee. The event is suitable for all ages.
All are welcome to enter our fancy dress competition judged by kids DJ extraordinaire, Freaky Phil, with prizes including a 1-night stay in one of our luxury glamping units and an exclusive kids cinema night in our woodland yurt for a lucky child and up to 12 of their friends! We’ll be looking for the best homespun and ‘re-created’ costumes.
So join us next week to prepare for Halloween night itself with a fangtastic, spook-tacular evening.
